Jack Baldwin Scholarship
 
The $2000.00 Jack Baldwin Memorial Scholarship is given to an outstanding high school senior who has achieved high scholastic standing while attending his or her respective high school and who has demonstrated leadership and non-paid participation in community service organizations or projects. The student must be enrolled in a trade or technical school or a similar vocation program in the fall of 2026.

 

R. L. Walmsey Scholarship

The $2000.00 R. L. Walmsley Memorial Scholarship is given to an outstanding high school senior who has achieved high scholastic standing while attending his or her respective high school and who has demonstrated leadership and non-paid participation in community service organization or projects. The student must be transferring to a four-year college or university in the fall of 2026.

 
Darrell Freeman-Brian Hall Scholarship
 
The purpose of the Freeman-Hall Scholarship is to honor over 100 years of combined Kiwanis service by Darrell Freeman and Brian Hall. Darrell Freeman has served in several Kiwanis clubs throughout California while working in the banking industry. He has served SMV Kiwanis-Nighttime as secretary, President, Board member and Lieutenant Governor. Brian Hall was a member of the Santa Maria Valley Kiwanis–Nighttime for 50 years. He has served as Treasurer, Board member and President while working as an architect in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
 
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated a commitment to community service in the past and describe any future community projects he/she plans to participate in the Santa Maria Valley.
 
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
 
Scholarship awardee, AHC transfer student, will receive a $ 1500.00 scholarship to a 4-year federally approved university or college. The $1500 will be matched by the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara.
